11:36 am - Pirates! Ohh Arrr!
Went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 last thursday, very good film - enjoyed it a lot. If your planning to see it make sure you watch the 1st as there is a lot of content from it that for some reason I didn't expect there would be. Maybe thats due to the way the 1st one finished and seemed to tie everything up...
I have also been playing the Volvo treasure hunt! Hoping to win myself a nice big volvo (if it was rotting and RWD I would be absolutely thrilled ;)). Tomorrow is the last day of the hunt and I think I have an ace up my sleeve on getting my answer in first...

02:59 pm - The Heavenly Solution!
I have wanted to move to Mac's for about a year now, maybe just under. They are just so much more sexy and look more calming :)
The major problem I have is that the main 3d application I use, 3ds Max is not and probably will never be supported for Macs. This made me sad like a sad sack of lettuce.
Solution: The new Intel Duo core Mac's have now been hacked enough to support XP (and vista !) in a dual boot format and they also run at native speeds!
I am already looking at selling up this laptop, in favour of one of the 15" macbooks (i have a 17" now and it is just a bit too big/chunky - a 15" with external monitor is a nicer solution :)).
The ultimate machine, a mac that can also run windows - what more do you want?Comment on this post

Well, I only have a week and a bit left of my degree, so after that I will be getting back on track with the usual stuff :)

09:00 am - The Fight For Mew + NB
In my constant fight to obtain all 386 pokemon before D / P come out, I have set about trying to get Mew brought to the UK.
68 signatures at time of writing, dunno if it will do anything, but we need mew!
Another thing I need to bring to the attention of all my readers is Netbattle - until D/P is released this is probably the best way to battle - it is also the best way to test out any strategies you may have :)

Well, got accepted onto the teaching course for D&T (PGCE) with a couple of conditionals, gives me something to do straight out of university and actually gives me some money finally!
Also getting back into my card games, not poker yet - need to build up some cash for that (to net a regular profit need a large bankroll to start with). But the smaller card games, such as Pokemon TCG, LOTR TCG, Magic TCG, etc.

Well, after all my recent bad luck (car, crap, etc) I think *touch wood* im on a bit of a lucky streak. Everytime I go in a pub, I have a go on a fruit machine (I go in say once/twice a week) for £4-6 - my weekly tipple ;) Well on monday I won £30 Jackpot + £5 and then on wednesday I had some dinner with family at a pub (the one I had my 21st at - also won the day before my 21st there £50, biggest ever win...) and went on a machine...
Won £84 ! (approx - can't remember exactly I was too excited :D). All in one go too, the machine was just paying out!
The luck didn't stop there, as a set of 18" loooovely rims came up for sale just around the corner, for a bargain price of £300! With my winnings + bit of other cash I decided to buy them - bargain! Believe they are worth around £2600 new...

10:48 am - Parts for the Mazda!
Well, I had a little accident in the mazda - NOT MY FAULT! Some person (read: twat) hit my rear quarter, sending me spinning accross traffic (thankfully there was none) and up a grass hill. He then fked off and left me there! I was extremely luck as far as accidents go, but unlucky for that to happen to me after only a week of owning the FC!
Anyway the planned respray has been moved forward due to this and I have some lovely parts on their way! They are in Manchester now so should be here tomorrow/wednesday...
The Starlet is also nearly ready for sale, just a bit more painting/putting bits on left to do.Comment on this post

Just came away from watching silent hill, great film I felt and really ties up some loose ends that are in the game. One thing I would warn is that there are truely some sickening scenes in it and spit roasting is popular in silent hill...
